Land Clearing and Grubbing
Land Clearing and Grubbing in Bozeman
A wooded or overgrown parcel has to be opened up before anything else can happen. Simplicityforchildren removes trees, brush, and undergrowth, then grubs out the stumps and roots below grade so they cannot rot, settle, or push up under a new slab. We haul the debris off or mulch it on site, leaving a clean, gradeable lot ready for the next phase out toward Gallatin Gateway.
Why Grubbing Matters, Not Just Cutting
- No future voids. Pulling stumps and roots out below the surface prevents the soft spots that form when buried wood breaks down under a pad.
- A true starting grade. A fully cleared and grubbed lot lets us read the real ground and set an accurate cut-and-fill plan.
- Cleaner build access. Clearing brush back from the work area gives trucks and the excavator room to stage and turn on a tight lot.
Our Process
We call in the 811 locate, then drop and process the vegetation with a skid steer, an excavator, or a mulcher sized to the tree cover. Stumps come out with the roots, and we either grind and spread the material as mulch or load it out. What is left is a clean parcel near Manhattan ready for topsoil stripping and grading.
